Silestone Quartz Sample Library

Engineered stone (also known as Quartz) is made from combining 90% Quartzite (an element present in granite) resin, pigment and occasionally mirrors or glass.

The end product has qualities similar to that of granite such as scratch, chemical and heat resistance. Furthermore, it is non porous (a quality responsible for attracting the attention of fabricators around the world, utilising it for kitchen worktops). Quartz is also used for the surfacing of floors due to its consistency over large areas of space.

Properties That Make Silestone Quartz Ideal For Kitchen Worktops

Cleaning quartz worktops takes a bit more time than cleaning granite, due to the resin present within it. However it pays off in the long term, as it is a non porous material that is highly resilient to marks and stains.

Working closely with each of our wholesale suppliers, we are able to provide a manufacturer’s warrantee across our entire range of Quartz kitchen worktop surfacing. An identification number is given to each our clients to register in order to obtain a certificate of warranty.
